Substantially form without content, this exhibit attempts to whip sympathy for a United States wallowing in the cult of victimhood into chauvinistic hubris for the War between the Cultures by stylishly presenting a potpouri of non-evidential and unsubstantiated artifacts.
On entering the exhibition three commented kiosks shove the usual grainy portraits representing the fait accompli of the alleged 19 Islamic hijackers at the visitor. Nowhere is mentioned their history of proximity to US military installations nor the subsequent survival of several of them.
On exiting, the viewer is served a wide-screen video of George Bush claiming the event is a justification for an endless war against Afghanistan and Iraq.
In between, one finds various crumpled firefighting and memorial artifacts but:

Correction of these oversights, which can hardly be accidental, remains an action item for independent efforts.
Interestingly,
the exhibition served up another peculiar coincidence for the observant, in one of the
cycled videos of the tragedy in New York.
Here, anchor Elise Lucet is announcing that the live feed (en direct on France 3) has been interrupted, for a time of about a minute. When the link was re-established, just after the demolition of the South Tower, it took Elise and her two co-anchors some minutes to realize the tower, partially blocked from their view by the North Tower, smoke and dust, had collapsed.
The anchored segment comes to an end shortly thereafter, before the North Tower demolition, and the presentation continues with footage taken the next day. Thus, the Caen audience sees neither of the Twin Towers collapse, and hence is deprived of the obviousness of the violent explosions that tore the towers apart.
(Coincidentally, the video feed from Jane Standley in New York to the BBC in the United Kingdom disintegrated during the actual collapse of WTC7.)
(Coincidentally, viewers of TF1 in France were treated to an inserted Star Wars segment during the coverage from New York.)

This photo, on page 42, might have been of some value to independent investigators who want to know what circumstances stacked "cars like a cord of firewood", especially since the top of one of them is caved in without the responsible party lying nearby in the photograph.
It turns out, however, that the editors have fudged the location. The intersection of Spring and Broadway is not yards, but many blocks, from Ground Zero, and neither Bari Pizza nor Rainbow Gourmet, the store the cars are blocking, lists current locations that help place the photo.
Since no official investigation questioned where these cars stacked, its determination remains an action item for independent efforts.

The angle of these comparison shots would not be particularly remarkable, but for the fact that in the entire 120-page edition, utterly no text reference is made either to the existence or collapse of WTC 7, either!
Similar is the Joel Meyerowitz massive
350 page coffee-table tome Aftermath, billed as an "extraordinary archive of pictures"
that "is the only existing photographic record of Ground Zero". It is indeed extraordinary
that Mr. Meyerowitz didn't bother to take a single photo of the remains of WTC 7 for inclusion
in this "archive"!
Everyone knows that Rosie O'Donnell dissed prominent multimillionaires on The View.
That caustic edginess attracted eyeballs to the show; that's what she got paid to do.
As any 9/11 skeptic can tell you, however, she also very pointedly broadcast her reservations about the collapse of World Trade Center 7. ABC did not pay her to do that, and made that very clear to her.
So please forgive us for suggesting that Parade and Newsweek, by kicking Rosie after she was down, are not only taking a cheap shot at a brave lady, but also promulgating an intentional lie calculated to mislead.
To suggest that the barely-literate Elisabeth Hasselbeck ("The force of the other two buildings coming down could alone take that building down") outlasted Rosie on the strength of her intellect is smarmy enough. Obscuring the demolition of WTC7 is not just "fun while it lasted", it's treason.
