The Magic Fuselage
We have all seen the foto of the fuselage fragment featured in Popular Mechanics as evidence
that a passenger plane hit the South Tower. Source:
FEMA Location: between
the penthouses on WTC 5's roof. This view, shot facing west, shows the
American Express building of the World Financial Center at the right in the extreme background, and the remains of
the North Tower closer by.

Unfortunately, the plane part shown here, officially sanctioned as being from Flight 175 that passed thru the South
Tower, raises more questions than it answers. Its value as evidence is compromised due to having been
- found ON TOP OF cladding shed by the Twin Towers, rather than UNDER it
- not found
and photographed by Gene Corley until October 25, 2001
- All of the FEMA 9/11 photographs of the Ground Zero were taken by FEMA photographers except this one.
Gene Corley
was a member of the special team that controlled information on the Oklahoma City bombing.
- not noted or photographed by independent investigators
- found suspiciously close to the roof access door and
- found to be a surprisingly large piece of sheet aluminum to have come thru a steel building
intact (especially in light of claims that both Flight 77 and Flight 93 vaporized on impact).
Since no official investigation questioned the origin of this fuselage, its determination
remains an action item for independent efforts.
