Dr. Stephen E. Jones, in examining the Ground Zero dust,
found iron microspheres (page 77), which are evidence of welding or thermite,
and a signature of controlled demolition.
In a word, molten metal that had been cast hundreds of yards from the collapses.

An NIEHS study done much earlier, published by Paul J. Lioy et al in the
Environmental Health Perspectives Volume 110, Number 7, July 2002, subjected the
dust from 3 locations, Cortlandt, Cherry and Market streets, to analyses too numerous to list here,
but found no iron microspheres!
1. Either Dr. Jones or Dr. Lioy is telling a funny. See if you can find any reference to iron (chemical symbol Fe), the most prevalent element in the structure of the World Trade Center towers, in the NIEHS table at right. See if you can find any reference to the percentage of iron by weight in the dust in Table 1. |
Since Dr. Jones found microspheres, but no official investigation did, this discrepancy remains an action item for independent efforts.
