Those of us who feel the Attack on America needs further examination are often countered by the argument that that no-one in America possessed the competency to pull off a job only jihadists hired for the day for photo-ops could do. It was "the perfect job". The Government claims that "By 8:00 A.M. on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, [the 19 hijackers] had defeated all the security layers that America's civil aviation security system then had in place to prevent a hijacking." Not to mention (let's be candid here, shall we?) our multi-trillion dollar defense establishment.

In summary, we feel it was less than perfect. The more we look into it, the more 'cockups' (as the BBC puts it) we find. Let's start by reconstructing what the perfect operation would have looked like:

1. Flight 77, taking off from nearby Dulles Airport at 8:20, would have hit the Pentagon first. The jaw-droppingly absurd stand-down of America's defenses would have been much easier to understand.
2. Flight 93 would have hit the White House, further easing doubts about America's defenselessness.
3. The perps would have gotten all the gold out of the basement vaults.
4. The Twin Towers would have collapsed almost immediately after being hit by airplanes, and the North Tower, struck first and more directly, would have collapsed first
5. World Trade Center 7 would have collapsed hidden by pyroclastic duststorms kicked up by the fall of one of the Towers in the morning. WTC7 apparently failed to go off on time not just once, but twice: the BBC's Jane Standley was given newscopy describing its alternate name, description and collapse which she read on the air a full 23 minutes before it actually fell at 5:20PM! (Arrow points to WTC7 still standing behind her). Coincidentally, the video feed to the BBC in the United Kingdom disintegrated just before the actual collapse of WTC7, similar to the way the video feed to France 3 with news anchor Elise Lucet coincidentally disintegrated just during the collapse of the South Tower.
